"Sami beach hotel is beautifully designed-it is absolutely gorgeous but the best is the owners Roula and her husband who are warm and friendly,the entire staff is exceptionally professional, polite and knowledgeable which is a clear reflection of a family run business.They all made us feel like family,made sure we were comfortable, words can’t express how happy we were and sad that we left-we are definitely planning on coming back again. "We stayed for a few days to attend a wedding in Lassi and we had an enjoyable stay in a nice location. Lovely staff- breakfast was nice and the pool snacks were even better! Can highly recommend their Greek pizza- it was delicious!
The only things that stops me giving 5 stars is that the curtains in our room were very thin and we had a bright light shining in all night- blackout curtains would be good for the rooms.
I also didn’t like that guests could smoke anywhere including by the pool but...

"We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the hotel. The hotel is incredibly clean, and the staff are all really friendly and helpful, particularly at breakfast and at the poolside bar.
The breakfast was plentiful with a very good variety.
The only downside, there was no evening bar once the poolside bar had closed. This was a shame as it would have been nice to sit outside with a nice cold drink in the evenings, but other than that, everything was perfect - thank you"
"A beautifully designed and laid-out hotel and spa complex. Upon coming up the driveway to enter the complex you are greeted by the fantastic swimming pool and adjoining bar & restaurant. The entrance to the hotel reception is stylish and modern, with a beautifully designed and furnished lobby area for waiting and/or relaxing in. The small shop is well-stocked and convenient. It carries many items to make your stay just that little bit nicer. Take the lift or stairs tot he upper floors if you're staying in the main hotel building.
The deluxe bedroom with sea views is well designed and furnished. The mini-fridge is a great bonus for keeping drinks and other items chilled. The views from the balcony are superb and a great spot to start and finish you day, watching the sun rising or setting.
A small but well-enough equipped outdoor gym area at the side of the main hotel building is well signposted and easy to find. It has its own swimming pool and a good number of sun loungers and parasols, so you can easily spend a good amount of time there and relax as well as exercise.
The main pool is excellent. There are a good number of parasols and sun loungers spread evenly around the whole pool and the service from the bar staff is excellent. You can eat and drink at the poolside if you wish or have a spot of lunch or early dinner in the bar/restaurant area. The staff are very friendly, attentive and efficient. You can order from the staff, at the bar or use the QR codes."

The main pool could do with tidying up a little, there is some maintenance required and it could have been cleaner... there was sometimes lack of seating (evening entertainment area particularly and Sugar Reef bar ) and pool sides (loungers) when busy.
The view and setting is lovely, hotel is in Gouvia town and there's a selection of restaurants and bars and gift shops if you want to leave the hotel. There is a small shop in the hotel as well as an excursions desk who were helpful also.
